Energy

• 29 Wyn is 25% more energy efficient on average than the current Florida Energy Code requirement.  

• 29 Wyn employs energy efficient lighting fixtures at an average of less than 2 Watts per SF of building.  

• All amenities and common areas feature sensors as well as occupancy dimming to reduce energy use throughout the building.  

• Thermal bypass inspections were conducted during construction to ensure a tight energy efficient building envelope.  

• Energy Star dishwashers are included in every home. 

Water Efficiency & Conservation

• 85% on average of the plants and trees planted at 29 Wyn are drought-tolerant and all landscaping areas include soil moisture sensors to reduce water irrigation needs and promote water conservation.  

• All lavatory faucets, shower heads and toilets are low flow to further reduce potable water use in the building. 

Material Responsibility

• 29 Wyn was built using responsibly sourced materials including materials with recycled content, and materials either sourced or manufactured locally.  

• In an effort to reduce our impact on landfills, 29 Wyn diverted over 50% of its construction waste sorted and salvaged for recycling. 

Indoor Air Quality of Residential Environment

• 29 Wyn is a smoke free building, smoking is prohibited throughout the community.  

• All public entrances to 29 Wyn are provided with mats to reduce pollutant contamination of the building entry points.  

• All common area ventilation systems are provided with Merv 8 high efficiency filtration media.  

• 100% of occupants enjoy increased comfort through access to daylight and outside views from each unit.  

• 29 Wyn was built with Low VOC products and all insulation utilized in the building is free of formaldehyde. 

Healthy Site

• Covered bike storage is available to residents to promote alternative forms of transportation.  

• On-site electric car charging stations are available to residents.  

• Low emitting fuel parking spaces reserved for fuel efficient vehicles.  

• To aid in reducing the heat island effect of site development, 29 Wyn was developed with over 41% light exterior hardscape surfaces, under building parking, and white roofing surface.
